Mysterious Lost Space Station Jumping

The space station is probably a vehicle in and of itself, but I'm more interested in the mystery around the space station in that it hops around in a way a lot like the Vrixid MacGuffin tbd causes the T'Vienor Expanse to jump around and this could be a vital link to getting on the trail of the stuff that is happening.
Which means since I don't want to railroad, I need to set up my organization better and know what is happening with this station so I can have it happening no matter what the players do.
It's something that the Vrixid created, once upon a time, as a precursor of their thing that they made, but they found out that they didn't do so well away from their planet. So this thing is chock full of stuff that would allow a Vrixid to live away from home and it's got a ton of amenities and a lot of mental controls to it.
There's also the precursors to the things that the Yilneh and the Tiwethi would need to come along and as such there's a perplexing difference in how the different rooms are created and all.
It's meant to be a whole big clue as to what might be going on with the Vienaran Sect since they can also show up to claim this thing as something that belongs to their sect that they made all themselves.
What clues can I leave to give hints that it being theirs is a lie?
