Intemperus (in-temp-air-us)
Lesser Daemon of Excess and Ambition
Intemperus is the Lesser Daemon of Excess and Ambition. It is he that spurs on those who are already skilled and powerful to want always more. More subjects, more sex, more fighting, more castles, more more more. He happily encourages those at the height of their successes that nothing will ever be enough, but that is okay. Unfortunately, it is exactly this that drives these poor souls into the embrace of his mother Hellebron.
Intemperus walks the planes as a handsome older knight and warrior, pledging his sword and his advice to "worthy" nobility, and eventually attempting to corrupt them to be vessels of his patron's will. Eventually, it is his greatest joy when he watches nobles and other successful people let their own ambition be their destruction as they are eventually destroyed by another's ambition.
