Gagwater Vines

Gagwater Vines are plants that grow in deserts. Their roots can go extremely deep to find water in underground rivers, while sprouting leaves about ground for sunlight. Most of the time though, they look like dead trees, a deceptive ruse for anyone not aware of their true nature. 
When harvested, they are a fantastic source of water and nutrients, but are positively disgusting. Some particularly weak-stomached travelers have even tragically and ironically died of dehydration despite finding Gagwater Vines, because they couldn't keep any of it down.

Gagwater vines can be harvested for a source of food and water. However, creatures must make a CON saving throw DC 8 to successfully eat them, or else fail to be able to eat them for the next 24 hours and gain 1 level of Exhaustion.
