Limnigi (lim-NEE-gee)

Limnigi, the "land of lakes", is the central region of Rodos, flanked on the west by Poligi, the east by Sunorogi, and the south by Skaphogi. It's political center is the city Psicus, known for its strong military rule. The lords of Limnigi answer to Polemarch Xanthos in Psicus. Though Limnigi is not a frontier region, it still considers itself the bulwark of Rodos, raising and training the finest soldiers who are then deployed throughout the country and beyond to protect Rodosian territory, fight alongside her allies, and lay low the monsters that would terrorize the world. The service of these soldiers is primarily what funds the city Psicus, allowing the towns and villages of Limnigi to keep most of their wealth and enjoy a relatively high standard of living.
