Humans are a diverse race comprised of various ethnicities and cultures. They are able to settle and survive in most climes. Throughout time they have left their mark on the world as a race, as humans are industrious, inventive and resourceful. Some of the other races think of them as restless and turbulent, endowed with the capacity for achieving greatness or bringing ruin to other creatures and themselves.

Naming Traditions

Depending on the culture the human is born into, names vary for children. A naming convention throughout the race though is that parents will select a name for the newborn.

Last names are usually adapted from the parents and last names of the more common folk oftentimes refer to the occupation of the person.

It is not uncommon that humans develop nicknames throughout their life, be it as a child, be it as a grownup.

Gender Ideals

All genders are regarded as equals throughout most human realms. There may be regional differences concerning the qualities associated with the genders, which of course are constructed but effacious nonetheless.
