Ezlan

God of hearth and home, inns and hospitality

Ezlan is not the most powerful God, nor even one of the mightiest. They are not worshipped in large temples and are not venerated through opulent festivals. But they are one of the most beloved and popular Gods in all of the pantheon. A lot of homes throughout the realms would have a small space set apart for the God of hospitality and have either a tiny statue depicting a small, dwarfish humanoid sitting on their haunches and smiling broadly, or a small bowl or plate filled with token offerings displayed. The statue would oftentimes be homemade. It may be carved from wood or clay and may be painted or not. The offerings would be a small loaf of fresh bread, a carrot fresh from the field or a small stump of a leftover candle.

Ezlan works no imposing miracles. But their blessing leaves a home warm and safe, a roof stable and secure and a family healthy. But that might be just about the most potent power a God can have.
