Dwarves, Anakalath
The desert dwarves, or Anakalath, are easy to distinguish from their cousins who are common in more temperate regions of the world: They are bald and beardless.
Not in the least less sturdy than other dwarves, the Anakalath have carved out an existence in the harshest possible environment of the southern deserts. There they travel the dunes and make a living from hunting the scarce local wildlife. Anakalath will never settle down permanently but will gather annually at the feet of the continent's mountain ranges to trade.Naming Traditions

Beauty Ideals
Anakalath men and women alike are completely hairless. Their skin is tough and leathery and of a coppery, ochre or brown hue. Their eyes are grey or green.
Their skin needs little protection from the scorching sun, so they do not need to cover their bodies much. Men will be bare-chested most of the time and will wear leather kilts and boots. Women will wear the same garb but wrap their torso in a simple cloth bikini. During one of the frequent sand storms Anakalath will be wearing a cloth headpiece to shield their eyes and face. Such a cloth is called a Rièngfi and is often times dyed an azure colour.
