The Paxoral of a city is the primary ruler of a city. Their authority on city issues and laws are final, with only country rulers taking precedence. It is their job to oversee the city council and help fuel the growth of the city. In order to be a Paxoral, one must be born in the city, reside for at least 10 years, have previosuly served in the city council, and be elected to the position. Elections happen every 6 years and there is no term limit on the position. Most paxorals are city elders who have previously served in other city positions and are often wise and have the trust of the people backing them. Paxorals are also responsible for approving anyone appointed to a city position. While most Paxorals are older, there are instances where a younger citizen has been elected, such as
the Paxoral of Basqierf.
Manager of Generals
The Manager of Generals is the second in command in a city, responding only to the Paxoral. They oversee the selection of all city generals and are in the City Council. They are often elected by the Paxoral and are viewed as possible future Paxorals. Becoming the Manager of Generals requires citizens to have resided in the city for 7 years and have served in a city position for 2 years. They are also responsible for handling day to day responsibilities for the Paxoral. The Manager of Generals is usually at all city functions and becomes acquainted with all major city officials and residents.
City Council
The City Council is Comprised of the Paxoral, Manager of Generals, all city generals, various city captains, and a group of city citizens. The city council is responsible for creating and updating city laws. The council meets once a month and is only comprised of elected people. The citizens on the council are various people of different backgrounds who wish to serve with other officials. There are 20 citizen positions and there are no requirements aside from being voted on by the public. The leader of the City Council is the Paxoral who guides the meeting and can serve as a peacekeeper. The tie breaking vote for the city council is the Legal general if it is needed.City Generals
Safety General
The Safety General is responsible for the entire city's safety and the different branches that protect the city. The Safety General is a member of the city council and is often one of the most respected positions. Requirements for the Safety General are that you must have served as a safety captain for 3 years, be approved by the Paxoral, be approved by the city council, and be elected by the public. The Safety General is over the Guard Captain, Fire Captain, and Health Captain.
Sanit General
The Sanit General us responsible for the city's cleanliness, looks, and general public health. The Sanit General is a member of the city council and often works closely with the Safety Captians to maintain city wellbeing. The Sanit general must have served as a Sanit Captain or Health Captain for 3 years, be approved by the Paxoral and City Council, and be elected by the public. While the Sanit General does work closely with all the Safety Captains, they work the most with the Health Captain to ensure proper practices are in place to protect the city's sanitation. The Safety General is over the Landscape Captain and the Sanitation Captain.
Legal General
The Legal General is responsible for approving all judge and lawyer appointments, and also oversees the Supreme City Court and all lower city courts. The Legal General is over the Judge Captain, Civil Captain, and Criminal Captain. The Legal General works closely with the Guard Captain for needed cases and trials. The position requires that one must have served as a Legal Captain for 3 years, be approved by the Paxoral and City Council, and be elected by the public. The Legal General is a part of the City Council and is the tie-breaking vote on laws. The Legal General is also the legal representitive of the city to the country rulers.
The Sundry General
The Sundry General is responsible over various different captains that dont really have enough responsibilites to be generals. They are over the Education Captain, Media Captain, Manufacture Captain, and the Event Captain. The Sundry general is on the City Council and is one of the harder jobs as it covers various fields. The position requires that one must have served as a Sundry Captain for 3 years, be approved by the Paxoral and City Council, and be elected by the public.Money General
The Money General is in charge of the city's treasury and trade. The Money General serves on the city council with their captains and is one of the more important generals on the council. Approves the dispursion of funds between departments. The position requires that one must have served as a Money Captain for 3 years, be approved by the Paxoral and City Council, and be elected by the public.
City Captains
Guard Captain
In charge of the city's guards and defenses. They work with the Legal General and Criminal Captain to provide evidence for cases. Reports to the Safety General and must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals. In the City Council.
Fire Captain
In charge of the city's fire safety. Responds to all city fires and reports to the Safety General. Works with the Manufacture Captain and Sanit General to help prevent fires and install fire safety protocols in buildings and city spaces. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Safety General.
Health Captain
In charge of the city's hospitals and medical staff. Works closely with the Sanit General to avoid disease outbreaks and overall city health. In charge of all city medical staff and their training. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Safety General.
Sanitation Captain
Controls the city's sewer system and trash regulations. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Sanit General. Works closely with the Health Captain to avoid disease outbreaks and city health.
Landscape Captain
Head of the city's landscaping, park care, and recreational duties. Works with the Manufacture Captain in regards to city layout and planning. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Sanit General.
Judge Captain
In charge of the city's judges and appointing them to courts. Serves on the Supreme City Court. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Legal General.
Civil Captain
In charge of all civil lawyers and courts. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Legal General.
Criminal Captain
In charge of all criminal lawyers and courts. Works closely with the Guard Captain to apprehend criminals and put them in jail. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Legal General.
Event Captain
In charge of planning city events. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Sundry General.
Manufacture Captain
In charge of the city's layout and the construction of new buildings. Works closely with the Landscape Captain in regards to city layout and planning. The Captain is in charge of all the construction workers and assigining them projects. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Sundry General.
Media Captain
Head of city publishments and controls the reporters. Works with the Guard Captain on what can be released to the public in regards to cases etc. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Sundry General.
Education Captain
In charge of the city's schools and education. Must have served as an educator to be appointed to this position. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Sundry General.
Treasury Captain
In charge of the city's banks and money. Must have the Money General's approval before distributing funds to the various Generals and Captains. Is on the City Council and works closely with all departments. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Money General.
Exin Captain
in charge of the city's imports and exports. Works with other cities to establish trade agreements and routes. Oversees all the city merchants and foreign merchants. The Exin Captain also serves on the city council. Must be approved by the Paxoral and Manager of Generals and reports to the Money General.
