Paladin of the Stormlord

Created by @TheProtobabe

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

A very large, muscular but also weighty dragonborn woman. She takes great pride in her overwhelming size at about 7 feet and 400lbs.   Her face is quite scary to look at, with a great craggy underbite and large jaw, a huge horn in the middle of her face, spines along her back, and two large ear-like fins at the sides of her head. However, there is a bit of a spark of humor in her eye, and she isn't unkind without reason.

Body Features

dark to light blue gradient scales on back with a light cream underbelly/throat/underside of arms/palms, no tail or wings, large flexible spines along her back that can flatten down or raise threateningly

Facial Features

Torn ear on right side, a few scattered scars, huge orange eyes with draconic slit pupils

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Biirdresh has been a competitor in the Day of Challenging for several years, always getting close to the top when she brawls but always thwarted by an orc man named Irontusk . The two have a fierce rivalry, since their brawls have ended with permenent scarring on both accounts and because Irontusk fiercely defends his title as the Stormlord's champion.   After losing a third time, she questioned what she could do otherwise to bring the Stormlord the glory he deserved, and decided to become his champion by way of adventuring. She took up a warhammer and took oaths as a paladin, thus starting her days as an adventurer looking for work at The Homebrew.

Gender Identity

Cisgender female, she/her

Sexuality

Lesbian

Education

She learned most of what she knows from the Thunderkill clan. Dragonborn are generally very tradition-oriented and will teach the great history of Arkhosia, ancient dragonborn city, as well as the rest of the world's history, along with combat training, reading, writing, math, and basic life skills.   However, when dragonborn come of age at 15 they are encouraged to make the decision to either strike out into the world and make a name for themselves, or live among the clan to possibly become an elder in their later years. Biirdresh made the decision to leave and see what the world had to offer.

Employment

Currently takes up jobs at The Homebrew, posted for adventurers.

Biirdresh calls him "Chicken boy" a lot because his brightly colored outfit reminded her of the birdlike dinosaurs in the museum's exhibit. She also likes that it annoys him.

Flaws

Breath Weapon (Lightning)

You can use your action to exhale destructive energy. Your blue draconic ancestry means this exhalation is a 5 by 30 ft. line dealing lightning damage.
When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a Dexterity saving throw. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level.
After you use your breath weapon, you can't use it again until you complete a short or long rest.

Damage Resistance (Lightning)

You have resistance to lightning damage.

Divine Sense (Paladin)

The presence of strong evil registers on your senses like a noxious odor, and powerful good rings like heavenly music in your ears. As an action, you can open your awareness to detect such forces. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 60 feet of you that is not behind total cover. You know the type (celestial, fiend, or undead) of any being whose presence you sense, but not its identity (the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich, for instance). Within the same radius, you also detect the presence of any place or object that has been consecrated or desecrated, as with the hallow spell.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to 1 + your Charisma modifier. When you finish a long rest, you regain all expended uses.

Lay on Hands (Paladin)

Your blessed touch can heal wounds. You have a pool of healing power that replenishes when you take a long rest. With that pool, you can restore a total number of hit points equal to your paladin level × 5.
As an action, you can touch a creature and draw power from the pool to restore a number of hit points to that creature, up to the maximum amount remaining in your pool.
Alternatively, you can expend 5 hit points from your pool of healing to cure the target of one disease or neutralize one poison affecting it. You can cure multiple diseases and neutralize multiple poisons with a single use of Lay on Hands, expending hit points separately for each one.
This feature has no effect on undead and constructs.

By Popular Demand (Gladiator)

You can always find a place to perform, usually in an inn or tavern but possibly with a circus, at a theater, or even in a noble’s court. At such a place, you receive free lodging and food of a modest or comfortable standard (depending on the quality of the establishment), as long as you perform each night. In addition, your performance makes you something of a local figure. When strangers recognize you in a town where you have performed, they typically take a liking to you.
