Personal history

Flynn Sevrin was raised in a small town called Cresthill, by the owner of the only inn/tavern in town. He picked up the ability to play the lute after years of practice and tips from wandering musicians that stay at the inn. When he was 18 he both met and fell in love with the well liked daughter of the noble overseeing the town, Clara Cresthill. It was love at first sight for both of them. While Clara's father didn't exactly approve of her relation with Flynn he didn't stop it. Clara also did her best to teach Flynn how to fit in with higher society and he was willing to do his best to learn. After a year of sappy serenades and romantic picnics there anniversary arrived. Clara gifted him with a new lute for him to use and a love letter that ended with "Will you marry me?". After saying yes they both went to spread the good news and to celebrate it. Just a few hours after the question was asked he left for just a minute and he returned to find Clara dying on the floor. He tried his best to save her but there was nothing he could do and she bleed out in his arms. Next thing he knows he is in a cell to be tried soon for her murder. He did find himself freed when his cellmate picked the lock. He then fled town with his only items being the clothes on his back, his new lute and the love letter. He grew out his hair and changed his name while never staying in one place for very long and always leaving as soon as he so much as hears a rumor that someone is looking for him. Going from town to town, playing music for scraps, although he couldn't find it in him to sing anymore. After nearly 2 years of wandering Flynn found himself a part in a traveling circus. While working with the circus he learned how to play a variety of other instruments and how to put on an act for an audience while in costume.
