Charles Elmer Gouda's Panem et Circucem

Contents & Furnishings

A variety of cheap tables and rickety benches line the inside of the sparse building. A double door leads to a back kitchen, worn and smelling of grease and burned breads. In the center of the building are tables, lit by small magical dancing lights, on which a number of games rest.

There is "Wack-a-gnome", where a patron holds a wooden mallet and attempts to hit the head of a small gnome as he pops his head out of various cutouts in a box. For every hit, a small parchment ticket is awarded.

There's "Light Ring", wherein a patron attempts to smack a small fairy that races around a circular track. If they smack the fairy, they win 10 tickets. If they smack close to the fairy, they get one ticket per inch they are close.

There's "Bag Toss", which is tossing bags of beans into a series of smaller buckets inside a larger bucket from a few feet away. Each bucket is labeled "10", "25", "50", and the smallest, center bucket is labeled "100".

"Hoop Ball", wherein a series of round balls are given to a patron and timed to see how many they can toss into an open hoop.

"Darts".

"Slider Pucks", wherein a mostly flat table has a circular, flat puck on it, and the patrons try to hit it to the other side of the table against an opponent. First one to hit the other side ten times wins.
