The Glassers
Fire remains one of the most effective tools for defending against the creatures spawned from the Blight. Utilizing methods and technology learned from the Fouvienians, this elite unit of specialized fighters work mostly outside the walls of Stonebridge, functioning as escorts for high value goods and people, and as a means of assuring the dead stay down.

Tactics
In a defensive situation, the Glassers are trained to form a line around their point of defense and calmly conserve fuel only when a threat presents itself. The Firespitters are extremely effective in the enclosed tunnels and spaces of the realms of Underhome, but in the open there if nothing but open space, and it is much harder of group and contain assailants. Once targets are identified, the Glassers will slowly push into them, moving to encircle their tagets and eliminate them using a literal scorched earth tactic.
Training
Standard peacetime training consists of a four hour drill period per day. This consists of physical training, target shooting, and mental acuity drills.
