Pact of Tears
The Lachrymatory Conclave is an uncanny gathering of spirits deep within the Void, tucked away within the remains the Dóchas Caillte Conservatory on the southern edge of the Isle of Seanachai. No living soul has set foot there since the Blight fell, and yet the Conservatory carries on, faint lights in the dark and hollow voices that echo through the silence, telling secrets and whispering songs. These creatures are thought to be the remains of a gathering of extremely talented Seanachaisian artisans that were lost in the Blight, and who have maintained their drive and desire to create, though are doomed to forever exist in the phased and weightless realm to which all spirits are doomed to haunt in the World, unable to create and express the sorrow and despair in their hearts.
In the event that one so attuned within the world of mortals is talented and inspired enough to draw their attentions, the spirits will send whispers on the breeze to the talented artist, tempting them with promises of lost methods and wondrous techniques lost to the grinding years that followed the Blight. Through this enticement, and the gentle touch of their words, should the aspirant accept their offer, the artisan will be granted a partial dominion over the realms of spirit and the air, imbuing them with the ability to direct their skills and talents outward into the world, channeling the woe and want of the Conservatory residents, encouraging them to create and change the world about them, and allow the spirits to feed from the expression. The ability to manipulate spiritual energy, drawing from themselves and others, and crafting it into viable additions to the world and tools to suit their needs is countered only by the nearly unnoticeable trade of the Artist's spirit slowly being displaced and deposited bit by bit into the Conservatory itself, eventually leading to them becoming a permanent resident there.

The Conservatory is drawn to sorrow and despair, but their nature that derives from their lost culture draws them to talent and skill as well. Only the most prolific artisans will be approached by the whispers of the Conservatory.
