Fennar Falkrun
Fennar Falkrun of the Ardunnon Tribe was a galtic king and folk hero who lived at the end of the Iron Age. He was known for his exploits around the world as a mercenary, adventurer and military leader, and became immortalized in galtic mythology as the third and last Alderking. From the closing of the Second Age to the early years of the Third Age, Falkrun led a grand alliance of galtic tribes in the Fifth Northern Revolt against the collapsing Meron Supremacy, beating the Merons back across the Amberag River and establishing the Kingdom of Ardunnon.
The nearly mythological figure of Fennar Falkrun has been widely used throughout history as a symbol of galtic heritage, and was a central image in the forging of an Ardunan national identity.
