Werren (The Alchemist)

Werren (a.k.a. The Alchemist)

Werren, sometimes known as The Alchemist, is the God of The Sea, and is a proud God with a foul temper. He is known for his delight in experimenting with storms, hurricanes, and other terrifying weather systems, as well as his on again, off again relationship with Silmis, The Courtesan. He is often depicted as a short man with wild, flowing hair and smouldering robes. He is a member of the ‘Black Divinity’ although somewhat begrudgingly. Many theological theorists posit that, were The Lord and The Scribe to stop belittling their brother, he may return once again to the side of light. Werren is one of the first eight gods created by The Potter, known as the First Children.
