Perret (The Scribe)

Perret (a.k.a. The Scribe)

As the God of Knowledge, and Patron of Wizards, Perret (Sometimes known as The Scribe), is one of the more active gods, and is known to wander the mortal world often in the guise of a wizened old man. He values the collation of knowledge over all things, and can even be callous and terrible when knowledge is denied to him. He is often depicted as studious old man reading a book or scroll. He is a member of the White Divinity and is one of the first eight gods created by The Potter, the First Children.   Perret has carved out, mainly thanks to his own knowledge, his own home in what many religious scholars estimate to be a demi-plane linked to the home of the other gods, The Sanctuary. Religious Legend knows it as the Watchtower of Knowledge. It is said that here he can observe the Weave, the source of the power of magic, in it's raw, unfiltered form. If this is true, the ability of Perret to alter the fabric of reality as it currently exists could be far beyond that of any other known deity.
