Henri Hémery
As one of the young up and commoners in Highgate and a member of the Knights of the Highgate Vigil, Henri is gaining a reputation in town. With past military experience and a shining record of service, he now hopes to join the political court. Despite this, he wants nothing more than to find a wife. He has been unsuccessfully courting Sophie Laflèche, who sees him as arrogant and to rigid and Simone Gachet who sees him as a pathetic sycophant. Henri is begging to see things clearly now though, his real problem is a newcomer gun mage from the order of the tempest.
After the explosion in Highgate, Henri was left gravely wounded. After convincing Vincent Gollan to give him command of the Knights of the Highgate Vigil, he now seeks to thwart the Chapter of Gold.
After teaming up with Darian Coley, Henri was killed by the Chapter of Gold while trying to aprhend them in Fharin.
