Where will this path take you today, I wonder?
What will you find around the corner? A lost and sunken citadel? The dark depths of a chasm? The fiery slopes of a volcano? The glittering spires of a great city?Geography
The landscape of this plane is ever changing as the Shifting Vales are the links between Caeli and those the Voices visited to draw inspiration from.
The only unchanging feature of the Vales are the Highways: invisible paths connecting the various portals that lead to and from the Vales. These roads are maintained by various factions with an interest in the Vales and by the Voices themselves in an attempt to protect the unwary traveller who stumbles into the Vales by mistake. The Voices also ensure that the Kichian are unable to easily use the Highways to travel to Caeli.
