General Summary
Buiego Dummkopf , Buskin Larkspur , Holly Larkspur , and Malthinae Freth take 8 days of down time awaiting a meeting with Mages' Tower s' Tower. Bueigo spends it crafting and reselling a variety of holy symbols. Buskin spends it mostly busking. Holly visits the college's library and learns the name/ iconography of her home city: Holly Oak. Buiego tags along on the last day to talk with Master Carkrana about his friend Thrim's medical condition and also about his mysterious cursed instrument: The Demonica. He is informed that it is a vessel for a literal demon.
The four journey on the ferry across Notch Lake to The Mages' Tower. They take turns pursuing experts in their particular interest fields. Buskin is given three magical seeds and a painted scroll of a pirate that was arrested in this city some thirty years before (very odd for a land-locked city) by a Transmutation Journeyman Wizard named Adra. Holly ventures into the library, daring the wrath of the Half-Orc book keeper Olasha. She timidly asks about the sigil and name of the city she found only to learn that no such place has existed in the past 500 years or so! Buiego meets with Master Conjurer Ilsef. The Master is able to build upon Carkrana's observations, discovering that the binding enchantment keeping the demon within the instrument draws its power from the curse bearer. The despair brought on by playing the instrument is a result of the demon's influence as it tries to free itself. He also informs Bueigo that, should he fall in battle, the entity in his hands will be instantly set free upon the world. Strangely, Malthinae sought no further asistance from anyone in the Mage's tower at time of perusal.
