The Magician King of Somerset
King Cadwy ͏͏͏͏ (a.k.a. The Magician King)
Cadwy is the earl of Somerset in Logres. He holds lands throughout Logres.
Though Somerset was officially integrated as a county of Logres in 482, it was originally an entirely unincorporated kingdom in Britain. Despite technically being an earl, Cadwy has retained the title and power of king over the lands of Somerset.
Cadwy is known as the Magician King, and is feared for his great magical abilities, second only to Merlin the Magician. He resides in the Castle by the Great Bridge and rarely leaves.
He is blind, and is believed to be one of the oldest men in Britain. He is a legate of the Supreme Collegium. He is the father of Prince Melwas of Somerset and Princess Alene of Somerset.
His coat-of-arms is unique: A servant in red and blue livery bearing a golden cup on a red and blue field.
