Sir Bellias

Sir Bellias ͏͏͏͏͏͏͏͏

Bellias was the Breton captain of the King's Guard and royal bodyguard of King Uther Pendragon and his brother, High King Aurelius Ambrosius Pendragon.   A childhood friend of the Pendragons in Brittany, he accompanied Aurelius Ambrosius to Britain on his conquest against High King Vortigern.   The most loyal knight in Britain, he was known for his proficiency with spear and sword. He was killed by Duke Gorlois of Cornwall in 491 and succeeded by Sir Brastias.   His coat-of-arms was a gold bell on a green field.
