High King Aurelius Ambrosius Pendragon

High King Aurelius Ambrosius Pendragon

Aurelius Ambrosius Pendragon was the king of Logres and the fourth High King of Britain.   Exiled to Brittany as a child by his brother High King Constans under the orders of his uncle Vortigern, he returned to Britain alongside his brother Uther years later to defeat Vortigern and his army of Saxons. He died during a campaign to eradicate Saxons from the shores of Britain for good.   He was respected as both a fierce warlord, as well as a good man and king. He was buried at Stonehenge.   His coat of arms was a rampant red dragon on a silver field, inspired by his title "Pendragon", which means "warrior chief".
