Æscwine is a Saxon warrior and king of Essex, which he conquered and renamed from Caercolun in 486.   A great tactician, he intends on ruling over the other Saxon tribes for a more focused attack on Britain. He is known for being cold and calculating.   He was allied with Cyning Æsc of Kent and Cyning Ælle of Sussex as the Alliance of the East Saxons.   He is currently at war with Salisbury after being refused tribute.
