Ælle is a Saxon warlord and the king of Sussex.
Inspired by the deeds of Hengest and Horsa, Ælle arrived in Britain in 477 intending on enslaving its people.
He is beloved by his people, and has many reinforcements waiting in Saxony.
In 485, he fought in the Battle of Mearcred Creek. In 486, he joined the former Alliance of the East Saxons.
He is currently allied with Duke Ulfius of the Vale.
