CŷrMenevriath

The city of CŷrMenevriath was built on the banks of a large natural harbor upon the ruins of old Menevriath after its destruction during the Shattering. and is truly a modern wonder. Its grace is matched by the backdrop of grand forests which have helped shape the city to what it is today. The trade resources these forests brought were of great importance, but they were also influential when it came to architectural designs as the vast majority of buildings have been built with both materials and stylistic shapes of the forests.
Trade is at an all time high in Menevriath and it has attracted a lot of attention. Countless cultures have left their mark not just on the city's history, but also upon the city's identity. What historically was a city of elves has grown into an amalgamation of different cultures and it's this that unites the people to this day.
It's this multicultural identity that has truly left its mark. This can be seen at the Great Library. Once just a simple library of elvish lore has expanded to include copies of written text from all over the known world as well as relics and artifacts from before the Shattering.

Demographics

While originally home to just the Elves as it grew in time the city grew reputation as safe haven to all creatures who wished to dwell in peace. This was largely due the Council of Sages policies with the Great Library. It's desire to maintain artifacts and history of all cultures before and after the fall drew many to city where they have remained for generations.
