Supreme god of all conflict

There was once a grand conflict between gods. Although little is known about it, War was undeniably declared the victor. No other god could match his skill in battle. Both in sheer martial prowess and tactical cunning, he had no equal. He took as his price the plane of Olympus where he now resides.
In most places the worship of evil deities is outlawed out of fear there beliefs will do great harm. The God War is the one Exception. Since conflict is viewed by most as inevitable his blessing is looked upon much the same, A necessity that despite its cruelty must happen. Many soldiers worship him in hopes of being able to return alive.
