The Velvet Dome
The Velvet dome is a large colloseum made of red stone in the middle of Solsven. It was established verry early on in the creation of the city and has served as a mayor part of it since.
History
Uppond its creation it was mostly used for theater performances. The fights in these escelated into full blown gladitorial specticals tho death was not a part of them. This tradition continued with Tragodia I even blessing the building and taking part in a coulple of exhibition fights. There was a brief period of time after the death of the tragodia line where the gladiatorial arena was used for actual bloodsports with the gladiators life on the line. This practise was once again abolished by Emperor Votun Lawborn Justice in 1786 AT. This day it still host fights but death of an opponent is not permited.
