Movanic Monastery

The Movanic Monastery is sits at the Center of Troïka withing a large mountain range. It connects all three regions of the continent via a network of roads trough the mountains that connect to the Monastery. A verry large and impressive structure is sits surrounded by a couple of small scale towns with farms that provide some resources to the Monastery but it buys most of what it needs with the tolls it levies on its mountain roads. It functions as an organization independent of any nation with there own guards and code of conduct. 

Ceremonies

Most acceptable religions have some sort of presence within the Monastery. It is also considered the center of faith for some of them and hosts a great many cellebrations rites and other ceremonies. It is not uncommon for pilgrims to travel to the Monastery to meet with high priest of there faith and to be able to converse about there faith with others. 

Safe Harbour

There are a multitude of religions that belief strongly in redemption. This sentiment is echoed by the Monastery as they will gave safe harbour to those who wich to flee from there crimes and turn around there lives as priests. This applies to all and there has been friction with nations in the past leading to handfull of incidents where those granted safe harbour where assasinated or the Monastery was forced to hand them over after large threats where given. Partialy because of this practice Impesta and Atzul have set up strong checkpoints at there borders towards the Monastery. Atzul does not leading to some amount of refugees unwilling to fulfill there Indulgences. 

Education

The Monastery holds within its walls a large collection of knowedge trough a number of books assembled from across Troïka. This includes a large amount of holy books from almost all religions but many historical and practical pieces of literature aswell. As an act of charity the Monestary offers anyone to read or write and many religions offer teachings of there various belliefs. In addition nobleman, merchants or other wealthy individuals can send there children to the Monestary where in exchange for a donnation to the organisation they will be educated in a wide varity of subjects including knowledge of the outer planes. This program seldem used by nobility from the Solstrum Principality as they question the influnces of an organization so openly willing to co-operate with those who rebeled against the Tragodian Empire. Despite this many nobles to at some point in there lives journey to the Monastaries walls for some religious education or experience. 

Indulgences

The Monestary holds a strict policy that indulgences and there enforcers are not welcome within the walls of the Monastery. This is a strict rule imposed by inspecting travelers from the Atzul region and anyone found attempting to smugle an Indulgences into its walls is banished forever. This is a quite harsh stance against the practise, the reason that has been given is that the Monastery seeks to give safe harour to all and Indulgences can affect the security of Atzul visitors, prechers, and students.

History

The Dwarves have long since known to abbondon the mountains at the center of Troïka for it was said to be a place bereft of a friendly hold only home to dangers and outcasts and outsiders. Durring the Reign of Tragodia I the great explorer Maria Engelbert picked these mountains as the her next destination. She was a renouwned vissionary having survived many dangerous expeditions including a trip oversees. After reaching the middle of these mountains she discovered and increadible cathedral cleary made thousands of years ago yet in a fine condition. This discovery led her to spend a year pondering over Troïka and the world correctly predicting a great many things including the Age of Judgement. After her year of self isolation within the Monastery she came to one resounding conclusion. The people had lost there connection to the gods and the outer planes which was once so important. This if uncorected would leave mankind to its own ruin. So to prevent this fate she at great expanse build roads trough the mountain passes from the three parts of Troïka towards the Monastery now dubbed the Movanic Monastery. A great many traders flocked to these roads and from the tolls collected from them she began expanding the Monastery turning it into a great place of worship and the center of many religions as well as a place where anyone could learn about the gods.
