Azzelon

The sane madman

Azzelon is one of the archdevils of old who sided with Zesta. A researcher at heart, he seeks to gain knowledge at whatever price it takes, being drawn to the more controversial area's of study his foremost areas of study are plagues and mutations. He often seeks bargains not for one's soul but rather for one's body, subjecting his victims to all kinds of pathogens and anomalous effects to see what results it might bring. He finds himself quite at home in the new hell Zesta brought, with more freedom to subject others to his experimentation and enough discarded bodies bereft of a soul ripe for study. Purely obsessed with his work, he cared little for the takeover of hell and supported it when he realized the benefits it could bring him.
Azzelon's followers can mostly be divided in two types. The first are those wishing to bargain with hells but fearful of their soul, they come to Azzelon in hopes of being granted a boon without eternal damnation, tho often eternal damnation finds them regardless. The others are fellow researches who share his vocation for forbidden areas of study and belief that all experimentation should be possible, bereft of morality it may be.
