The Agritor

A position largely held by common folk. The position does not have a formal selection process although the citizens agree on a selection process and term duration although none are currently set.

Requirements

The Agritor must be selected from the non Nobel population of Pandonnel and must be at least the age of adult hood for their race.

Appointment

The Agritor is selected by the unguilded members of Pandonnel as a representative of the common folk

Duties

The Agritor is a governer of sorts his duties are to act as a liaison between the guilds and nobility and the unguilded as well as be their voice in the councils

Benefits

The Agritor is paid for his service by the council and such he is not expected to need to bring in crops anymore. Most Agritors continue their farming and hire hands to make up for their time spent doing other duties.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

The Unguilded can call a meeting to remove the Agritor with a 70% majority of those in attendance at which time a new election will be held. Having the station of Agritor removed does not preclude you from elections and this stops people from holding rush meetings to force an Agritor out that is loved by the public but disliked by some.

This rank was created as the un-gilded workers/farmers felt as though they were not being represented in government so they were thus unfairly being treated as nobody was their to defend them or present their case regarding issues.
