Session 12: The Life Tree Report
General Summary
The prison pals came across a pair of wanderers in the desert. The wanderers were a human warlock, Gunther, and a lizard folk warrior Ebbing Tide. The prison pals and the wanderers came to an agreement to travel together to the tree of life as it benefitted both parties. Along their journey they stumbled across an oasis with super heated water, and mysterious blue fruit. Moving on the party was engaged by a lone sniper/scout, almost killing Rhune, and putting the rest of the party in a tight situation. Rhune managed her injuries and shot back at the sniper, killing him. The party discovered that the sniper had instructions to "isolate the VIP". The party determined that the VIP was Rhune and decided to take extra precautions while moving forward. Eventually they had arrived at the Tree of Life and tried to capture the sapling. The sapling that the group nabbed turned out to be a fake, and the cultist had retreated into the tree of life. The pals then went in after them.
