Joey Badaboopi (a.k.a. The Prosciutto Bambino)

Joey has led a life of crime and mischief and has certainly paid the price for it. Due to some bad monetary decisions in his younger years, Joey began replacing his body parts with cybernetics, including his heart which has been replaced with a countdown clock. After getting caught stealing some important tech, Joey was thrown in the Aerohollow prison, serving a 25-year sentence. Through the turmoil of prison, Joey found the light of The Wise One, and hopes that in doing good deeds he will be rewarded in the afterlife.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Joey is a slimmer man, though he has a bit of muscle to him... that is at least to the parts of his body that aren't cybernetic

Body Features

Nearly every part of Joey's body roughly blends flesh and robotics, making him a sore sight for eyes. This isn't often seen, however, due to Joey's cybernetic armor which wraps most of his mangled body. Joey's armor is a sleek and slim armor which wraps in strands around his body and fits like a morph suit.

Facial Features

Though from a glance Joey looks like he's around the age of 30, a deeper peer into the features on his face tells a different story. His face shows faint signs of large wrinkles due to his de-agifying body modifications. He brandishes a scar on his left cheek due to a stab wound, as well as a self-done teardrop tatoo below his right eye. Another prominent feature is Joey's eyeballs, which shine a deep green with unique symbolic patterns in the irises. Finally, Joey's most shameful body modification is to his forehead, where two small horn-like flesh-mounds sit atop it.

Identifying Characteristics

If Joey wasn't always covering up his body modifications using his cybernetic armor, he would stick out like a sore thumb everywhere he goes. But because of the cybernetic armor, one of Joey's identifiable features is his armor's gleam in the sunlight, which makes him stick out like a bruised thumb. Joey's other identifying feature is his head horns, because he mistakenly thought those were cool when he was younger. He was so wrong.

Physical quirks

Due to Joey's body modifications, he very rarely runs out of energy, and moves quite precisely wherever he goes. On rare occasions, Joey's parts can become locked due to debris/wear and tear, which is why he always carries around a can of oil.

Special abilities

Joey's cybernetic armor provides him quite the ironclad defense, glancing most blade swings right off of him. His armor also boasts quite the offensive option, that being his gauntlets, which have been known to spark to life with electrifying blows and/or thunderous bolts. Joey can also emit fields of energy using his armor, which can either heal him or even give him ninja-like stealth.

Apparel & Accessories

Joey brandishes a gold chain around his neck, a gift from his parents for as long as he can remember. Other than that, Joey keeps his accessories to a minimum, unless he is donning a disguise.

Personal history

Not much is known about Joey's childhood, other than that he grew up poor as the only child to two very Italian parents. He learned how to cook from his parents when he was a kid, and was never very interested in school. In order to stop relying on his family, Joey left home to join the profitable field of organized crime. Joey hopped around from gang to gang, getting in trouble wherever he landed, and making tons of money while doing so. He was a resident expert in technology, with tons of magical and non-magical gadgets he would use to carry out his crimes. The last gang he was a part of tasked him with stealing pieces of technology that were linked to "The Big Bang". Joey was caught with these pieces of technology and was arrested with a life sentence at the Aerohollow prison. During his stay at the Aerohollow prison, Joey met a preacher who converted him to the teachings of The Wise One. This was because Joey now believes that he must do enough good deeds to outweigh his previous bad ones in order to have a good seat in the afterlife. Due to Joey's new beliefs, he turned a new leaf, and his sentence was lightened to only 30 years. Now out of prison, Joey has made it his life's goal to right his wrongs and to please The Wise One in order to not be swallowed by hell fire and brimstone for all eternity.

Education

Ever since he was young, Joey was always interested in machines, becoming an expert with any such piece of technology he could get his hands on. Joey withdrew from his secondary education because he found it boring, instead pursuing a life of crime. Due to this, Joey is very smart when it comes to street knowledge, but not quite book smarts. This became very useful in his stay in prison, where he strengthened these street smarts even more.

Employment

Joey's only real careers were those he had in his teens to twenties, where he moved around from gang to gang.  He would do many crimes during these years, most of which were high-stakes robbery.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Joey successfully liberated a robot's battery from the evil bank.

Failures & Embarrassments

Joey bought into the scam of the pet-shop owner in Drangholt, getting way too attached to a cat named Heathcliff who had never even existed

Mental Trauma

Joey's time on the streets and time in prison have given him a lot to think about.  He does not trust too many people and trusts the corrupt authorities even less.

Intellectual Characteristics

Joey does not have much when it comes to book smarts, however street smarts are where he excels.  Joey knows how to read situations quite well, and can fairly accurately predict the outcomes of most social interactions.  Due to his life of crime, Joey also knows best how to discretely enter buildings, analyze their layouts, and take what he wants without getting caught.

Morality & Philosophy

Joey used to have the mindset of the world being a struggler's paradise, however he has more recently subscribed to the beliefs of The Wise One.  The teachings of The Wise One spoke true to Joey during his stay in prison, and ever since he has believed in an afterlife dependent on your behavior during your regular life.  This has caused Joey to want to do good not only for himself but the world as whole.

An Italian bambino who also happens to be a magically-inclined inventor. He used to be involved in a criminal organization which involved stealing technology involved with "The Big Bang". He has enhanced a lot of his body with cybernetic parts too.
