Constable of Wreath Torst Quakestone
Torst has the look of a dwarf who's been around the block. Even when he's making his rounds in town stopping by to say hello to the farmhands, he sometimes appears to look past them. It's as if some great weight is still being carried, but most of the townsfolk tend to give him their sympathy. Most soldiers who come back from useless skirmishes in the Stendar Pass come back with fewer friends.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
While still plenty strong by dwarven standards, he's definitely not at his peak any longer. A career in the military can takes it's toll, and it's no different for dwarves.
Body Features
He has fair skin, blondish hair, and his beard reaches about mid-chest and is cinched together at it's base by a silver clip. He is otherwise of genereal dwarven physique.

Has a scar on his left eye, and a broken nose.
Apparel & Accessories
Generally spotted wearing his custom half plate that was made by the town blacksmith, upon which rests a brass wreath on a slightly green breastplate.

Personal history
He once served in the Vardan army with his friend and fellow soldier Jayr Reddoran. Their company suffered badly after the recent skirmishes in the pass near Fort Stendar just before entering the Plains of Sorrow. Now he's the Constable of Wreath, and oversees the town militia. He, along with an enthusiastic young half-orc named Callindy Corwin are largely responsible for the training of able bodied men and women for the village's militia.

Even though he did save a fair number of his comrades, if he had acted on his gut feelings sooner, he believes he could have avoided any losses at all. This is largely unknowable, but he takes it especially hard if he's had alcohol.
