Political event
The Service's creation would mark a new era for postal transportation. Needs global coordination on a military level made the postal service a vital component of the military effort.
In 721.II, the Guilf of Postal Courrier was almost dead. For centuries, the continent had been fragmenting, its cities starting to grow away from ✝ Berneem's hegemony. Its king was dead with no inheritance. Then the Service was created which took dominion over local governments. With a new, centralised military organisation, diplomatic and strategic communication was paramount in the continuing war. The Guild of Postal Courrier's organisation was seized, its direction reorganised, its budgets replenished. The organisation was now a genuine element of the The Service and changed its name into name we know today, The Continental Postal Service, or CPS.
