Construction beginning/end

Linking the northernmost to the southernmost was a crazy idea. And it got made.

To revive transportation and with it, continental trade, Berneem's engineering force took the challenge of linking the colonies of the White Sea to the Southeast. This whole project was made possible with a substancial financial help from The Kalendic order.  In the North, the trail ending in Espliin was prolonged through the tundra and iced mountains towards Seenov ; meanwhile, in the South, where Aarden was only reachable by a detour through Kalengad, a new route was traced through the desert, and was then extended along the eastern coast, reaching the peninsula of the Aoura mountains.   After six years of work in harsh conditions, fighting against the cold and the heat, the trail was completed, and gave the impulsion for new migrations and new settlements to arise.
