Sergeant Edmund Gil Dastak

Edmund is loyal and trustworthy and methodical in his thinking, he will work at a problem until he has gotten to the bottom of it no matter how long it takes. He is steadfast and not taken to flights of fancy. Quite a social person he gets along with most people but has only a small circle of close friends that he confides in.
He has worked Captain Jacinth for many years now and they have a mutual respect for eachother. Jacinth trusts him and has thus assigned him to be part of the Duke's personal guard.
He saved the Duke's favourite grandson from drowning and was instrumental in foiling a plot to assassinate the Duke several years ago.

Personal history

Edmund came from humble beginnings, his parents both worked hard to provide for their three children. After school he entered the Salikan guard and has remained there ever since. He has been married for twelve years to his partner Risan and they have an adopted daughter who is nine.

Employment

After leaving school he joined the Salikan guard and over the years has worked his way up to a position within the Palace guard acheiving the rank of sergeant four years ago.
