Zaffir Dust

Description: A small pouch of red crumbly dust that feels rough to the touch. This dust is prized amongst Thieves and ruffians and is commonly traded amongst the members of Shadow Guilds as its use in nefarious dealings is well known amongst them.
First pioneered by an unknown group of Drow and Half Elves along the Sellenic Shore after a now legendary set of break-ins and thefts from the nobility of the town of Zaffir.
Mechanics: A pouch of Zaffir dust is sufficient to dissolve a single small item made of nonmagical metal to rust such as a chain, hinge, or padlock.
If a pouch worth of Zaffir is blown inside of a single nonmagical lock it ruins it and destroys the lock mechanism.
