Mechanics & Inner Workings
The Fernian Ash focus is a wand made from the wood of the enchanted Fernian Ash tree of the Old World.
The Fernian Ash is a type of tree cultivated for it's elemental affinity to the fundamental element of Fire, as a result when the wielder of the focus channels magical fire through the wand it is empowered by the residual magic of the Fernian Ash making it slightly stronger.
Manufacturing process
Typically these focuses are manufactured by older Hedge Wizards who know of the location of a Fernian Ash or have cultivated one themselves. A small cut is made from the tree, usually a branch or a smaller, that is then expertly whittled down to the desired shape whilst keeping as much of the elemental energy held within the focus.
History
This wand was found in the hands of the mysterious person found in the forests surrounding the Estate of Humphrey Kalden, inside of a blood summoning circle.
