Eldritch Scarf

Description: From a distance the Eldritch Scarf looks like a scrap of midnight wound around someone's neck. It's edges frayed to resemble large shadowed fingers falling to the side. It's innumerable pockets and folds created by the shadow-fabric serving to almost hide the wearers face, giving the impression of half-seeing someone in the early hours of nightfall from a distance.   Up close it almost seems to come alive, constantly moving almost too slow to perceive and yet giving this constant feeling of motion. Where you would expect to see loose knit wool and worn out textile you get an impenetrable wall of subtly inky blackness and the occasional patch of sable that travels slowly across it's body. From within the folds only a void stares back.   It is sewn from Dusk itself by the Spindlemasters of the Unseelie, and where all the little things that go missing in that time invariably end up.     Statistics: Whilst wearing the Eldritch Scarf it provides the following benefits:   Extraplanar Pocket: The Eldritch Scarf hides an extradimensional space within it's folds that can only be reached by the wearer. The space holds 60lbs on material, not exceeding a volume of 6 cubic feet. The scarf always weighs 1lb, regardless of its contents. A living creature cannot be placed inside the Eldritch Scarf.   When you place an object in this space (no action required), your hand vanishes into the scarf's loose folds.   You can't retrieve items placed within the Eldritch Scarf with your hands. Instead, you can use a Bonus Action to mentally control the scarf, causing it's frayed, hand-like ends to reach within the space to retrieve it.    Ironing or otherwise flattening out the scarf causes the items stored inside to be squeezed out, spilling forth unharmed from the ends of the Eldritch Scarf. If it is destroyed, its contents are lost forever.   Eldritch Cloth: While wearing the Eldritch Scarf, you can use an action to mentally control it, using the frayed hand-like ends of the Eldritch Scarf instead of your own to manipulate a simple object, such as open an unlocked door, stow or retrieve an item from an open container, or pour the contents out of a vial within 5ft of you.   The ends cannot attack or activate magical items, and they can't lift any item that weighs more than 10lbs.   Extraplanar Singularity: Placing the Eldritch Scarf inside an extradimensional space created by a Bag of Holding, Portable Hole, or similar item instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to another Plane.   The gate originates where the one item was placed inside the other. Any creature within 10ft of the gate is sucked through it and deposited in a random location on a Random Plane. The gate then closes. The gate is one-way only and can't be reopened.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Unseelie magic is strongly at work here, and is responsible for everything the scarf can do.

Manufacturing process

Take the dim-light of Dusk, refine it to physical form, understand how to take the nonesense space and make it make sense, then just knit.

History

Taken from Ramul Hollywrought's corpse after his defeat by the party. I wonder where he got it from.

Significance

One of the rewards for the party's defeat of Ramul Hollywrought and taken with the right of conquest.

Whilst it looks and feels incredibly light and soft to the touch giving the impression of a fine fabric, the Eldritch Scarf is actually made of Dusk itself, woven by the Spindlemasters of the Unseelie.
Tools
The Mystical looms of the Unseelie court are likely integral to the creation of this garment, so you'd probably need one of those to start.
