Damn Fancy Comb
Description:
A dull red wooden comb with faded gold filligree in a floral pattern that is warm to the touch. When held at the right angle you can see the faint glimmer of the colour of Maizina.
Attunement Task:
Have someone who doesn't know about this task compliment your appearance the same day as using this comb on yourself
People who have completed the Task:
Asur Dheshe
Effect:
Once attuned the comb can be used to cast "Disguise Self" on yourself once per day, but the illusion must be better looking than you. When the spell is cast in this way you also have advantage on the next Persuasion check made against someone who can see the illusion and is unaware of it.
To see through the illusion the creature must make a DC15 Investigation (Intelligence) Check.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The enchantment on this Damn Fancy Comb doesn't seem to be intentional, it feels rough compared to other magical items like a cave compared to a house.
Manufacturing process
The comb itself looks completely mundane, but the process that converted it into the "Damn Fancy Comb" is currently unknown.
History
The Damn Fancy Comb was found in the nest of a Basilisk in the Herasdyon (The large abyss in the middle of Todesloch) before being picked up by Asur Dheshe.
