Cold Call

Description: A Greatsword gifted to Tibalt by Scratch during his first visit to Misery. The blade is made of a dark metal that glimmers slightly if the light catches it at the right angle, along the blade itself various images have been etched into the sword. The handle itself is wood bound repeatedly with iron rings, something natural bound in metal.
Above the handle on one side of the blade an image of a mechanical marrionete standing and looking up the sword, on the flip-side an image of a shadow silhoutted figure with the only features visible being two large orb-like eyes who is also looking up the sword. The final image can be seen at the very end of the blade near the point, which is a monstrous bird creature with wild eyes and talons ready to swoop down towards the holder of the blade.
It's thick and long and bears a cruel jagged cutting edges at either side, with the blade ending in a piercing point at the top. It has no crossguard, no defense, it's a weapon used solely to end the enemy not defend the user.

Stats: Whilst attuned to the Cold Call the wielder gains the following properties:
Hit Points lost to the Cold Call's damage can be regained only through a short or long rest, rather than by regeneration, magic, or any other means.
Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an attack using this magic weapon, you can wound the target. At the start of each of the wounded creature's turns, it takes 1d4 Necrotic damage for each time it has been wounded, and can then make a DC15 Constitution Saving Throw, ending the effect of all such wounds on itself as a success.
Alternatively, the wounded creature, or a creature within 5ft of it, can use an action to make a DC15 Medicine (Wisdom) Check, ending the effect of all such wounds on it as a success.
