Blood Freeze Dagger

Description: An elaborate dagger, it's cylindrical handle has been wrapped in a fine red satin grip that feels luxurious to the touch. At the pommel a small red ruby has been set on the end which looks as if it has been filled with a thick red liquid.
The blade is made from a slightly blue-ish metal with muddy streaks of red that marble it, its shape is mostly hollow with two spiraling edges entangling together from either side of the crossguarded hilt to form two cutting edges and a cruel boring point at the end.
You get the impression that without the powerful magical enchantment that moves through it, this dagger would break almost immediately, but when magic is involved practicality is no replacement for cruelty.

Statistics: The Blood Freeze Dagger requires attunement in order to gain any of the following effects:
Attacks made with the Blood Freeze dagger deal Cold damage instead of Piercing.
If you roll a Critical Hit with the Blood Freeze dagger, the target must succeed on a DC12 Constitution Saving Throw or be Paralysed until the end of its next turn, frozen in place and unable to move. If it succeeds, its movement speed is halved until the end of its next turn instead.

For the most part this item's inner workings are through a powerful Necromantic enchantment that has been interlaced into the very metal itself and harnessed in the jewel on the Pommel.

Stolen from the pockets of a Drow Gentleman named Selddar, who was traversing the Turla Bayou in an effort to escape from some unnamed assailants with his two Ghouls, Elizabeth and Philip.
Now in the very capable hands of L the Rogue.
