Amulet of the Devout
Description:
The Amulet of the Devout is an Amulet found around the neck of a strange skeleton wearing what looked like religious robes in the hidden shrine of the Buried Palm.
It is a rectangular Amulet held in place by a thick black string. The Amulet itself is made of Bone and has a delicate carved relief of an androgynous human figure with eight arms, they are also covered in small mouths across their entire body and along their head a series of blank masks can be seen.
The Amulet itself seems to glow with a strange light that seems to be contained by a layer of shadow that lingers around the outside of the item.
This version of the item was converted to the Ornament of the Veil upon Sylviel defeating the monstrous form of Lady Mercury/Peyoli Zaiqine.
Stats:
When attuned and worn by a Paladin or Thane (Cleric) the amulet confers the following effects:
The wearer gains a +1 to their Spell Attack rolls and Spell Save DCs.
While wearing this amulet, the wearer can use their Channel Divinity feature without expending one of the feature's uses. Once this property is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.
