Jackal's Disk

Description: The Jackal's Disk is an item commonly found amongst those who work amongst the Shadow Guilds but are looking for a quick backup if they get in a sticky situation on the job.
Initially the Jackal's disk looks like an ordinary glove, typically made from leather or some other inconspicuous material, but with a command from the user the glove transforms into a shield with the handle taking position in the hand that was wearing the glove ready to aid the defense.
The item was first created by the notable Shadow Guild wizard known as the Jackal after getting caught one too many times whilst out on the job.

Statistics: Whilst in Glove form the Jackal's Glove can be worn as an ordinary item of clothing, although any magical inspection will reveal it to be enchanted.
As a bonus action the Glove can be shifted into Shield form and equipped in the same hand that was wearing it, provided that it is empty. If the hand isn't empty then the transformation fails and the item returns to being a glove.
Whilst in Shield form the item functions exactly like a standard Shield.
To return the Jackal's Glove back to being a glove requires one action.
