Mikel Shank

Mikel Shank is a human man, a powerful warrior from Farette. Together with Marco Borcharti he co-founded the North Petal Monster Hunters.

Marco and Mikel found the North Petal Monster Hunters, with the mission of studying the many various types of monsters on the Tippitulian Peninsula in order to destroy or banish them. Specifically, they were looking to help common folk who did not have the money or political connections to protect themselves from monsters.

Marco and Mikel became acquainted with the adventuring group, The Strays. They worked together to investigate and hunt down Liman Welmar Andla, a Vampire who was abducting people at his theater to feed on them.

Marco and Mikel were promoted to generals in The Army of the Republic of Farette after they had gained recognition for helping protect a tenement building in the Stone Petal from a Devourer. They were not originally welcomed by the noble members of the army's leadership, however, Marco and Mikel's popularity with the city's common folk meant adding them would help with recruitment and the appearance of legitimacy for an institution that had more recently been tarnished by political maneuvering.

Full scale war breaks out between Farette and Menona and Marco leads a number of defenses of the city, including the Battle of the Rancid Rain, when The Strays returned to Farette after having spent time in the Feywild that amounted to 5 years on the Material Plane.


Shortly after reconnecting with The Strays, Marco and Mikel agreed to join them at the Tippitulian Temple of Sibhualten and work together to find a way to dispel, destroy, or banish the Star Shards.
