Tower of London
Double in size compared to generic terran arcology the tower houses one of the two areas of highest concetration of geniality in Solaris under the crest of the University of Terra.
The massive building is directly centered above the original Tower of London castle, thus receiving the name.
Internal partitions
Besides the University which takes approximately upper two thirds of the structure, the Tower also houses Bishopric of Great Britain. The bishopric is located on 65th, 66th and 67th floor of the arcology. The floors above are mostly normal. The floors below, on the other hand, are called Downtown by the locals and are the biggest slum on Terra, giving the few visitors a taste of life in the outer reaches of the civilization.
University campus
A largest university campus in known space belongs to the University of Terra. Hundreds of floors dedicated to lecture rooms, laboratories, workshops, but also dormitories, parks as well as entertainment facilities like cinemas, theatres, skiing slopes. Many of the students lucky enough to get the lucrative spot in this place never leave, instead of becoming a part of the cutting edge of Terra's research, often starting families and producing children who often follow in their parent's footsteps.
Midtown
Mostly a home of those who couldn't cut it at the University, but want to stay nearby because their entire families work for the Uni or those who are fed up with sheltered life of the local scientists. Midtown, along with the bishopric below, serve as a thick wall that separates the shielded life of the University campus from the almost hellish conditions in the Downtown.
Bishopric
Holding three full floors in the largest arcology ever built, the bishopric in London is the second largest compound owned by a religious organisation in Commonwealth space, second only to Vatican compound near Rome tower.Downtown
Original floors were removed long ago, making room for the modular housing units that no longer met the security criteria for space stations. Stacked atop each other in more than a hundred layers, connected by bridges and small squares, they hold almost as many people as the rest of the massive tower.
