"Time has blessed me by forgetting me. With this blessing, I shall be this world's living memory."
Few know of the silent watcher of Nostrina, and fewer have seen him in the flesh. He has dedicated his eternal existence to watching and recording the history of Nostrina. As time marches on, life will live and die, the great civilizations of the world will crumble to dust, and the old world will be forgotten. Times march is unstoppable and inevitable, so the Silent Observer has made it his duty to watch and record Nostrina's history, so that it may never be forgotten.

Physical Appearance

Tarrentel is a wyvern with grey scales and a sleek body. His body is perfectly suited for flying through the air at high speeds. Besides the two flat horns that sit at the back of his head, Tarrentel's body is devoid of any horns or spikes along his body, making him look somewhat bare compared to many other dragons.

Abilities

Due to Tarrentel's generally passive demeanor, Deagon's Monitors are unsure of his true power. In all of the recorded encounters with this dragon, each of them mentions an ability to turn completely invisible, explaining his elusiveness. In one report, the witness mentions a calming aura when approaching him, leading many to believe that he possesses mind-bending abilities of some form, although no further information is given on this. While many in the Monitors have an uncharacteristic amount of trust in Tarrentel, they are sure he possesses far greater power than he is letting on.

Insight of the Ageless

Tarrentel originally got the attention of Deagon's Monitors in 1789 1E, though rumors of an elusive dragon soaring through the skies date back centuries. An investigation was conducted regarding the mysterious dragon, which failed to yield any true results for years until 1802 1E. While tracking a lead regarding Tarrentel, one of the organization's hunters accidentally stumbled upon him in Shemlya, watching a village from a hilltop. The hunter expected the dragon to attack or flee; instead, he introduced himself to the shocked hunter. The two spent the entire night talking about the history of the world and their places in the world. As the sun rose, Tarrentel departed while the hunter passed out from sleep deprivation.
"Do not fear me, young mortal. My name is Tarrentel, would you like to speak of this world's past?"
In this first account, Tarrentel described his duty as one of record keeping. He had seen many civilizations throughout the centuries rise and fall, monuments that would've been lost to the sands of time if it had not been for him. In his eyes, letting these histories go to waste was a shame, so he made it his duty to preserve those histories in his mind. His only other wish outside of his delf appointed duty is to find another immortal being who shares his interest in this world's history. Unfortunately, he is still searching and fears he may never find them.
Classification: Greater Dragon
Threat Assessment: Tarrentel is an elusive dragon with very few confirmed sightings. In one sighting, an individual approached the dragon and conversed with them. The individual in question described Tarrentel as wise and insightful regarding the history of the world. This dragon has yet to show any hostile intentions and has been designated as a non-threat.
