Thistlewick

Thistlewick is a small, secluded village within the Hassel Forest where a group of Forest Gnomes call home. Situated not too far from the city of Vid Havet, the inhabitants keep themselves to themselves and actively try to stay hidden - going as far as to disguise the enterance to their village with illusionary magic.
Zook Fizzingbuns comes from Thistlewick, where he grew up living with his mum.

Dark Blight

Zook and his best friend Jeb ran away from home after a prank went wrong. Whilst fleeing, Zook was caught in a snare trap and was taken hostage by a mysterious man by the name of Dralgoth. He was taken back to a old abandoned manor where he was made to fight in pit battles against various monsters and creatures, seemingly for Dralgoth's amusements. Zook managed to escape and flee, jumping aboard a boat and fleeing north.
Zook went back to Thistlewick shortly after he and his friends returned to Vid Havet on the trail of Whukkini Brewminer. A lead led them to talk to a man called Theren Nightstalker, an accomplished ranger and tracker that promised to search for Whukkini if they would help find his wife Keyleth. The only information Theren had found about his wife was that she may have been taken by a man named Dralgoth. Recognising the name and description, Zook headed back to Thistlewick so that he could retrace his steps back to the manor where he had been held captive.
