Merrifort

Merrifort is a busy, successful trading town due to its prime location. For this reason, Merrifort has been fought over in many wars, leading to a fort being built there to help keep control of the vital costal settlement.
Located in the Kingdom of Veritria, it is situated on the estuary where the Noorie river flows into the Ardell Ocean in a natural bay, called Barnacle Bay. The town is also positioned on the border between Veritria and the Kingdom Of Galornia, making it a key trading town between the two kingdoms. Many ships travelling up the Noorie River, towards Lake Noorie and the capital St Austead, stop here for provisions and supplies on their long journey.

Dark Blight

Zook Fizzingbuns was a stowaway on a ship heading towards Merrifort. There he was taken into custody by Veritrian troops for breaking the law on using magic without a permit.
