Deep Lord
Deep Lords came from somewhere else, through the tears. These are what the dragons of Vision Inlet had been hoping to seal away when sacrificing their home. Although the tears beyond the sea made this gesture moot, the Deep Lords in the Sea of Heavy Sighs are very much trapped and sealed. However, with the advent of the tunnel, their agents are free to roam beyond their territory.
Deep Lords are ancient and intelligent, cunning, malevolent beings with a hunger for servants and worshipers.
Basic Information
Anatomy
No singular unanimous appearance, though most seem to enjoy sporting tentacles. They can choose their apearance and grow into that look over time.
Genetics and Reproduction
They are sterile, thank the gods. The only way more of their kind is made is a secret to their origin realm.
Growth Rate & Stages
None is known as a staple, since they can morph through growth at will.
Ecology and Habitats
None have been found on land, through water, air, and some say space are all acceptable habitats and thoroughfares to their kind. They also travel through the strange, astral, mental, and any other peculiar way. The weirder the better and more preferential. They cannot physically exist in dry hot bright places. Such locations act as a prison and coffin.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They feed on negative emotions, thoughts, and activities. They also enjoy devouring living beings and souls or spiritual energy.
Biological Cycle
Once they choose to become physical, they must remain in that state for a thousand years. It takes another thousand years to return to a metaphysical state.
